Healthy ice cream? No I’ve not gone mad it really exists! The best part is it’s so easy to make anyone can do it, and it only takes 3 minutes! It’s made using a simple combination of frozen banana, yoghurt and any extra berries of your choosing. Blending up these together results in a lovely silky smooth desert that has the texture of ice-cream and the fresh taste of real fruit.
What you need
- 1 banana
- Stawberries or any berries of your choice
- Greek yogurt
HOW TO MAKE
1. Cut up your banana into small chunks and pop into the freezing in a small tupperwear container or freezer bag. Here you can also add any of types of fruit in the freezer with the banana. I usually only need to freeze the banana because I like to keep store bought bags of frozen strawberries, blueberries etc. They’re great to have in the freezer for making smoothies.
2. Once your banana is nice and frozen grab your blender and add the frozen banana and berries of your choice. Then add two big spoonful’s of Greek yoghurt. Wiz it all up in the blender till it has a lovely smooth texture.
And that’s it! It’s that easy!
